Op Shop finds

After catching up with friends, one of which is moving house and sorting, I felt the urge to do some organising of my own. This feeling reminded me of when I was in the last weeks of pregnancy. I managed to clear out four bags worth of items that just never get used from the kitchen cupboards. This meant I 'had' to take these bags to the local op shop so I could feel like I had achieved something. One would think that because I had done this, I couldn't possibly want or need to look for anything in the shop while there. But of course I went on closing time and thought I couldn't possibly find anything that I would like in five minutes surely? With my son on my hip, I had a quick look around and there it was, staring at me, saying buy me, buy me. It wanted a new home and I placed it over my arm, paid for it ($2.50) and quickly left before finding anything else to reclutter my house with. It will be used to take to the park for all the essential items for the children.

Thank you to Jane and Christina for inspiring my love of baskets
