While I don't think we were spoilt for choice in yesterdays election, we sure were spoilt by our surroundings when we went to visit family holidaying in redcliffe. A beautiful walk along the bay with my camera in hand snapping pictures of anything that caught my eye. How I love going to places I have never been.

The Week That Was....
63 Nappies Changed (no there isn't a typo there)
50 Times I nursed my baby
10 Loads of washing
4 catch ups with friends
One Sunday drive that cost $85.34 (long story)
Lots of cuddles and fun with my children
Although life can seem the same every week for me with similar routines, I need to pinch myself and realise how lucky I am to have the life I do.

The Castle
The Macadamia Castle.
A beautiful drive to our destination through northern NSW.
Feeding animals, mini golf, playgrounds and a train.
Followed by dessert, hot macadamia nuts and coffee.
Another beautiful Sunday spent with the ones I love.

The Strawberry Farm
You can't pick strawberries nor does it have many animals. So it doesn't really suit its name nevertheless, but it's a nice little place and the children absolutely love it. The strawberry farm is a sweet place alongside the highway where there is a constant flow of visitors trying out the icecream. There are a few goats, one fiesty chicken and guinea pigs, some of which have free range of the yard. The children love feeding the animals, but most of all knowing that when the food runs out we head straight over to the icecream counter. We haven't visited the Strawberry Farm in a little while, but whenever we do it's such well spent quality family time.
