Pictures of the past

I often wonder about the history of the items I buy in op shops prior to giving them a new home.

At the auction yesterday amongst my many finds I also picked up an old Kodak camera in a neat little case for only 50 cents. I made this purchase purely to put on the bookshelf and admire its retro feel. On closer inspection once I returned home I realised that there was still film in the camera with five pictures left to capture. I snapped away taking pictures of my family and pondered the thought of developing the film.

A part of me really wants to discover where the camera has been and what story it has to tell. It would be my first find that I would know who held it and treasured it before me.
