Last time I blogged about crochet I successfully knew how to do a single crochet and that was it. I am proud to say I have now mastered the double crochet, along with the triple crochet and a half double stitch. Although still slow while keeping my eyes fixed on the needle, I find crochet so relaxing now and love seeing the progression from a simple ball of wool. The pictures are the start of a throw rug I'm doing for the couch.
It is looking great! You should be very pleased with yourself and your new skill. :)

Double stitch and half double stitch sound like another language to me! Unlike my sister I can't crochet, but I am impressed how quickly you have picked it up! The scarf looks great.
